About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to play a pivotal role in setting and overseeing the financial strategy and direction of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial matters across a complex, globally distributed network, serving as a trusted advisor to the COO and Senior Management Team. This role demands a leader with the ability to build, develop, and manage a multinational finance team, ensuring the organization's financial operations are in line with its mission and values. Key responsibilities include providing global finance leadership, developing and utilizing predictive financial models, managing organizational cash flow, and overseeing all financial reporting and compliance. The VP of Finance will also be involved in strategic planning, and risk management, and will be expected to engage with the Board's Finance Committee on financial matters. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree and CPA preferred. A minimum of 12 years' of financial management experience, including at least 6 years' in an international non-profit or NGO setting, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing institutional and restricted donor funding, leading enterprise system implementations, and collaborating with senior leadership and Boards of Directors. Strong knowledge of international nonprofit accounting standards, financial systems, and ERP platforms is essential. The role also requires excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work across diverse cultures and time zones. A commitment to the company's mission and values, as well as the ability to travel internationally and work in low-resourced countries, is a must.
