Sewing Machine Operator

Duties include but limited to:

1. Perform full range of duties related to sewing, hemming, and repairing of uniforms to ensure that all items are clean and in satisfactory condition.
2. Maintain compliance of the uniform program
3. Ensure issuance of uniforms
4. Prepare yearly textile reports
5. Ensure that par levels are properly set and maintained for all uniform orders to ensure no lapse in uniform assignments
6. Collects and maintains statistical data as necessary for the preparation of reports and analysis
7. Initiate quotes and proper documentation which supports credit card orders
8. Properly inventory and monitor specialty items.
9. Ensure receipt of issued facility uniforms
10. Reports discrepancies to the supervisor
11. Assist Linen and Laundry staff
12. Other duties as assigned
