Draw blood specimens from patients using established phlebotomy techniques while ensuring safety and patient comfort.
Prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing following procedural guidelines.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and patient information.
Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and foster an atmosphere of trust.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a professional, clean environment.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence and confidentiality.
Perform duties independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills
Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proficient keyboard and data entry abilities.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy setting.
Additional Skills & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Medical assistant or paramedic training is a plus.
Previous customer service experience in retail or service environments preferred.
Availability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with flexibility for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
