Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Room Attendant to join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn Folsom. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

** WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Ensure all linens are clean, fresh, and properly stocked in guest rooms and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests for additional items or services.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service to guests.
