High Reach Operator

Job Title: High Reach Operator $20 an hour!

The Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, loading, and distributing building product materials within and outside the Distribution Center. This role involves operating propane or electric-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, or similar equipment to lift, stack, tier, or move products or materials.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from receiving, storage, and production areas using forklifts or other lifting devices.
• Organize products by sorting and placing items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fulfill customer orders promptly, including pulling orders from stock, placing them on pallets, and transporting them to packing stations, shipping departments, or directly to trucks.
• Track production by managing customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to achieve daily goals.
• Maintain records by verifying the accuracy and quality of items received and loaded for delivery.
• Participate in annual physical inventory and product counts, ensuring accurate labeling or tagging.

Essential Skills

• Experience in operating reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and high reach forklifts.
• Proficient in order picking, loading, and unloading tasks.
• Skillful in material handling and maintaining inventory records.
• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Electric pallet jack experience is a plus.

Shifts

Monday-Friday 1:30 pm-10 pm paying $20 an hour Training on 5 am-1:30 pm M-F

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manchester, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
