Triage Rn Hematology/Oncology Ambulatory

Join our expanding Hematology/Oncology Ambulatory team as a Triage RN, where you’ll provide expert clinical support and compassionate guidance to patients across our Frankfort, Monticello, and Lafayette clinics. This onsite, Monday-Friday role (8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) offers no call, weekends, or holidays and supports a growing practice of six physicians and three nurse practitioners, alongside an experienced triage team of two full-time RNs and one PRN. Oncology experience is preferred but not required, making this a meaningful opportunity for RNs seeking clinical autonomy, teamwork, and long-term growth including a move to a new building in Summer 2028.

Qualifications:

• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
• Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
• Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
• Requires ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
