Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technician to join the team. This role is responsible for installing, programming, repairing, and maintaining fire alarm and security systems in commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fire alarm and security systems in collaboration with technicians and management
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently
• Perform system testing to ensure proper functionality and regulatory compliance
• Provide technical support to customers and internal team members
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and industry standards, and assist in training junior staff
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Travel to job sites within a 90-mile radius
• Work four 10-hour days, with occasional overtime (typically allowing for 3-day weekends)

Requirements

• Experience in the security industry or a related field
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and circuits
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license, ability to pass drug screening, and obtain required school clearances
• NICET certification in Fire Alarms preferred
